Orunodoi Assam Apply 2024: The Chief Minister of Assam, Mr. Himanta Biswa, has recently announced the launch of the Orunodoi Scheme, aimed at benefiting the citizens of the state. This initiative marks Assam’s first direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme. Under the scheme, approximately 3.7 million beneficiaries will receive a monthly payment of ₹1250, which totals to ₹15000 annually, directly deposited into their bank accounts.

What is Orunodoi 3.0 Assam?

The Assam state government has once again renewed the highly successful Orunodoi scheme, marking its third iteration due to the positive response and significant impact it has had on the state’s citizens. This initiative will deliver financial aid directly to residents through a benefit transfer system.

Approximately 3.7 million beneficiaries will receive a monthly stipend of ₹1,250, totaling ₹15000 annually. The scheme aims to uplift the social standing of its recipients, providing essential support that can be utilized in various ways by those in need.

Objective of Orunodoi Assam

The Assam Orunodoi Yojana is set to roll out a range of services aimed at uplifting the people of Assam. This initiative will offer various benefits designed to support residents in need. Number of Beneficiary Under Orunodoi 3.0

The scheme is intending to provide financial assistance to around 3.7 million citizens of the state.

Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for applying under this scheme is simple and is given below:-

• The applicant should be the permanent resident of the state Assam.
• The applicant should possess an Aadhar-seeded ration card holder.
• The applicant if a woman should be an adult 18+ from a household.
• The widows, unmarried woman (45+), divorced, deserted and transgender are eligible for applying under this scheme.
• The Divyangjan individuals, irrespective of gender are  eligible for applying under this scheme.
• Elderly or infirm women are eligible for applying under this scheme.
• Women from households where earners are disabled or elderly are eligible for applying under this scheme.
• Women with HIV, Thalassemia, hemophilia, cerebral palsy, leprosy or Autism are eligible for applying under this scheme.
• The women who doesn’t have any permanent place to live are eligible for applying under this scheme.

Ineligibility Criteria

The ineligibility criteria is given below:-

• The households of MPs, MLAs, CEMs, EMs or their ex-counterparts are not eligible for applying under this scheme.
• The members of panchayat raj, urban local bodies and autonomous councils are not eligible.
• Doctors, engineers, architects, CAs, lawyers, bankers and teachers are not eligible.
• Government contractors, real estate agents, industrialists, trade license holders, businessmen and income tax payers are not eligible.
• Households with motorized four wheeler are not eligible.
• No marginal land holders
• Beneficiaries of similar cash schemes like “orunodoi plus” are not eligible.

Financial Assistance

Under this scheme the  government will provide financial assistance of rupees 1250 to the women of the state every month which will be around 15000 annually.

2. Once you’re on the homepage, locate and click the registration button.
3. Next, you’ll need to fill in your name, address, and mobile number.
4. Follow this by uploading the required photographs and providing the necessary details according to the guidelines.
5. After everything is filled out, click the submit button, and don’t forget to print a copy of your application.
6. Finally, take the printed document to the nearest social welfare department for submission.
