Process of Working
- After getting married, the Bride and Bridegroom should visit the DA/WEDPS at the Secretariat within 30 days to apply for the Scheme. Alternatively, they can fill out the application form directly on the official website.
- Both the physical and online applications will be submitted to the WEA/WWDS.
- The WEA/WWDS will then conduct field verification, perform e-KYC for the Bride, Bridegroom, and the Bride’s mother, and upload the required documents.
- Once the WEA/WWDS completes the verification, they will send the application to the MPDO/MC.
- The MPDO/MC is responsible for verifying all documents and the comments made by the WEA/WWDS. After thorough verification, the MPDO/MC will forward the application to the PD-DRDA.
- The PD-DRDA will examine the documents and then pass the application through a 6-step validation process.
- After completing the 6-step validation, the applications will be sent to the district collector’s office along with the application form.
- Following approval by the District Collector, the approved application will be sent to the respective State Welfare Corporations.
- Finally, the respective Corporations will handle the payment processing to the mothers of the Bride and Bridegroom as applicable.
