• The bride’s family must not own a four-wheeler vehicle except a taxi or tractor.
• No family member of your bride must be an income taxpayer.

Financial Benefits

Process of Working

1. After getting married, the Bride and Bridegroom should visit the DA/WEDPS at the Secretariat within 30 days to apply for the Scheme. Alternatively, they can fill out the application form directly on the official website.
2. Both the physical and online applications will be submitted to the WEA/WWDS.
3. The WEA/WWDS will then conduct field verification, perform e-KYC for the Bride, Bridegroom, and the Bride’s mother, and upload the required documents.
4. Once the WEA/WWDS completes the verification, they will send the application to the MPDO/MC.
5. The MPDO/MC is responsible for verifying all documents and the comments made by the WEA/WWDS. After thorough verification, the MPDO/MC will forward the application to the PD-DRDA.
6. The PD-DRDA will examine the documents and then pass the application through a 6-step validation process.
7. After completing the 6-step validation, the applications will be sent to the district collector’s office along with the application form.
8. Following approval by the District Collector, the approved application will be sent to the respective State Welfare Corporations.
9. Finally, the respective Corporations will handle the payment processing to the mothers of the Bride and Bridegroom as applicable.

5. After submission, your application will be forwarded to the relevant authority for review.
6. If selected for the scheme, you will receive financial assistance directly deposited into your bank account.
